QUESTION, U GAIZ

I'm looking for a digital camera to buy soon (as in late next month, for my birthday). Preferably something that works well with objects that tend to have a large glare under lighting. Glare, do not want. I need it to take pictures of my larger art projects, and they tend to be done in mediums that produce a glare when photographed - colored pencils, especially.

Anyone know of a camera that would work well for me like that, and is fairly cheap? (Less than $300, hopefully.) :/ I've been looking, but so far, nothing.
